CoreWeave Brings NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI Infrastructure to India With 240 MW Plan

CoreWeave NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI Infrastructure

Mumbai: CoreWeave has announced its entry into India, planning to expand its AI Cloud platform with 240 megawatts (MW) of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai through a collaboration with AdaniConneX.

The expansion marks CoreWeave’s latest move to broaden its global infrastructure footprint for customers building and scaling artificial intelligence.

CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV), described as the Essential Cloud for AI, said the planned deployment will be developed at AdaniConneX’s Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai.

The company also intends to invest in India by establishing an office and hiring locally to create an on-the-ground presence and collaborate with customers and partners across the country’s growing AI ecosystem.

CoreWeave Plans 240 MW AI Cloud Deployment in Navi Mumbai

Under the collaboration, CoreWeave plans to develop a new campus comprising three 80 MW buildings at the AdaniConneX Taloja campus.

The company plans to deploy the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Platform on its AI Cloud platform, bringing next-generation AI infrastructure to the region.

The infrastructure is intended to support increasingly complex AI workloads, including AI training, inference, reasoning and agentic workloads.

CoreWeave said AI is creating new possibilities across industries and that realizing this potential at scale requires infrastructure specifically designed for AI.

Its global AI cloud platform provides compute, performance and scale for customers developing AI applications and systems.

“India has the talent, developers, and ambition to become a major center of AI innovation,” said Sachin Jain, Chief Operating Officer of CoreWeave.

“We are investing in the infrastructure, technology, and local presence needed to support that growth, bringing 240 megawatts of capacity, NVIDIA Vera Rubin, and CoreWeave’s expertise to customers building and scaling AI in India.”

CoreWeave Expansion Supports India’s AI Ambitions

The CoreWeave investment comes as India advances its national AI ambitions, including through the IndiaAI Mission, while the country continues to emerge as a destination for data center investment.

CoreWeave said its entry into India reflects growing customer demand for its AI Cloud platform and its strategy of bringing its purpose-built infrastructure closer to customers globally.

Through its India expansion, the company will provide enterprises with access to specialized compute, software and services needed to build, deploy and scale AI.

The company said the expansion also supports its growth across geographies, industries and customer segments as AI adoption accelerates globally.

Taloja Campus Designed for High-Density AI Infrastructure

The Taloja facilities are being designed specifically for high-density AI infrastructure. The planned facilities will include direct liquid cooling for GPU data halls and a non-evaporative chilled water system.

According to the company, the design will support future generations of AI computing as technology evolves.

The first phase of the project is expected to become available in mid-2028, with additional capacity expected to come online in phases.

CoreWeave will be the sole tenant across the three buildings. The company will also have the opportunity to double its capacity by expanding by up to an additional 240 MW at the campus.

CoreWeave Expands Global AI Cloud Footprint

The India expansion builds on CoreWeave’s growing global footprint across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The company said its entry into India follows its recent expansion into Indonesia.

As of its earnings call on August 11, 2026, the company had approximately 4.2 gigawatts of contracted power.

The company also highlighted its performance in AI infrastructure, citing record-breaking MLPerf benchmark results in inference and training.

The company said it is the only AI cloud to have earned the top Platinum ranking in SemiAnalysis ClusterMAX three consecutive times.

The planned 240 MW deployment in Navi Mumbai adds to CoreWeave’s global infrastructure expansion as the company works to bring purpose-built AI cloud infrastructure closer to customers building and scaling AI applications and workloads.
